Reading Your Knitting

This is an invaluable workshop for beginners and intermediate knitters alike.

Tired of tick marks and speadsheets of when to work what shaping when? Picked up a project after a few weeks (or months, or years) away, and have no idea where you are in the pattern? Being able to look at your needles and know at a glance what’s going on is one of the most empowering things a knitter can know. In this class, we’ll go over the basics of stitch construction and knitting comprehension so you can gain confidence in your work on the needles.

Please bring with you:
Smooth, non-haloed worsted weight yarn and appropriate needles. Please also bring any languishing projects that are waiting for you to figure out where you left off–we’ll use them as class examples!

Find out more and sign up for the class on YAK's website here!
