Baa Ram Ewe - Leeds, UK

Tired of tick marks and spreadsheets of when to work what shaping when? Picked up a project after a few weeks (or months, or years) away, and have no idea where you are in the pattern? Being able to look at your needles and know at a glance what’s going on is one of the most empowering things a knitter can know. In this class, we’ll make a start on the In August, Away cowl pattern and use it to help understand the basics of stitch construction and knitting comprehension so you can gain confidence in your work on the needles.

Skills needed are being able to increase, decrease, and have at least a basic familiarity with charts or knitting lace.

Materials and homework: 4.5 mm needles. We will provide one hank of our lovely dovestone dk. Please also bring any languishing projects that are waiting for you to figure out where you left off--we’ll use them as class examples!
