A few months ago I wondered if I could combine dip stitches and brioche. The answer? Yes, yes I can. And it’s awesome. Oh, and it’s reversible!

Pattern includes full tutorial on how to work these stitches, as well as a guide on how to read patterns including these stitches. If you’ve worked 2 color brioche, you’re ready to give these a try!

Finished Measurements
16 (18 1/4, 20 1/2, 22 3/4)” / 40.5 (46.5, 52, 58) cm circumference brim, 9” / 22.5 cm height

Yarn
• MC: Dyed in the Wool by Spincycle Yarns (100% su-
perwashed American wool; 200 yds (185 m)/50 g): 1 skein or 145 (165, 185, 200) yds / 133 (151, 170, 185) m fingering weight yarn in color Fuzzy Navel
• CC: Handspun Fingering Weight Cashgora OR Handspun Sport Weight Cashgora by Cashmere People (100% hand-dyed, hand-spun cashgora goat; between 260-469 yds (238-433 m)/100g): 1 skein or 130 (150, 170, 190) yds / 121 (139, 156, 174) cm in color Sanguine

Needles
US 2 (2.75 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular needle and double-pointed needles (dpns) or preferred method for small circumference knitting
or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge
21 sts and 72 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Fan Stitch, after blocking
